True Made BBQ Sauce
BBQ sauces are one of those products that is typically notoriously high in sugar and laden with things like high fructose corn syrup. If you read labels carefully, you can sometimes find a lower sugar option. This one is not only just 7 grams of sugar per 2 tablespoons, it is also made with real food ingredients tomato puree, butternut squash, carrots, and spinach. The result, depth of flavor and a BBQ you can feel great about your toddler eating and still really truly enjoy eating it yourself! This item can also be ordered a bit cheaper using Amazon's subscribe and save. This sauce is rarely found in stores so - keep it coming!
True Made Ketchup
Ketchup is yet another one of those products that is typically notoriously high in sugar and laden with things like high fructose corn syrup. It gives you what you want from ketchup and none of the junk you don't! This item can also be ordered a bit cheaper using Amazon's subscribe and save. Also not found in stores, so get yours here!
Chocolate Pudding Mix
Yes, chocolate pudding mix. I didn't really think about chocolate pudding, ever, until reading a book about the toddler show character 'Caillou' not being able to eat his chocolate pudding until he cleaned up his toys. Therein lay the motivation to create chocolate pudding in the hopes that my toddler, may too, clean up his toys. I also happen to have a sister-in-law who loves chocolate pudding pie. But when I checked out the pudding options at the store, they were all full of artificial colors and processed ingredients. I also wasn't feeling very confident about making one from scratch. This is what I found and it does not disappoint.
Taco or Tex-Mex
Sometimes it is nice to have pre-made sauces around. I sometimes use this or a a pre-made curry paste and coconut milk. It's good to have some shelf stable things around. Of course a good spice rack is key, but sometimes, this. You keep fresh vegetables and meats stocked, and you add something like this and it just makes things easier sometimes. It is great on ground beef (100% grass-fed beef is so widely available now!) and also great on sliced or cubed up chicken. I like this product as it does not contain preservatives or notorious processed food ingredients.
